Musicians

Kevin Drummond

He is a pianist, he is a singer - he is also an arranger - Kevin Drummond!

Kevin Drummond, a native of Brooklyn, New York, started playing the piano at the young age of 12 years. He began to develop his musical skills at "Ebenezer Temple", a local church in Brooklyn. It was there, that he learned how to sing and play piano, which he mostly played by ear. Kevin briefly attended the New School of Music in New York City, where after he taught himself how to read music. He has since performed with several "off an on" Broadway productions, such as: "Mama, I want to sing", "The Wiz", "Let the Music Play Gospel", "Walk in the Light", just to name a few.
Apart from the United States, Kevin has been blessed to tour Europe, Japan and the Carribean as a music director with the Halem Gospel Singers and many others. He has played and shared the stage with such artists as Xavier Naidoo, Chaka Khan, Denise Williams, Jeffrey Osborne and so many more.
Fusing Gospel with Jazz and Blues, Kevin truly masters his craft!

Charlyn Hashmi

As a long time member of the Protestant Faith Fellowship musicians, Mrs. Charlyn Hashmi is one of todays most talented piano players. As in 2007 & 2008, we are fortunate to have her accompany the 100% Gospel Workshop Choir again throughout our 100% Easter Gospel Workshop 2009.

Joseph Odogu

Ever since his 13th birthday Joseph Odogu, a native Nigerian, has been playing Gospel music on his keyboard at numerous churches. At first only in Africa, later however also in Asia and Europe. These many different cultural and musical experiences have influenced his own and specific abilities to play the keyboard, which enabled Joseph to develop his own personal style in playing the instrument, with which he til today mesmerizes his audience. Eric has produced and recorded on the Savoy jazz label under his established brand "Naked Jazz Music". He has toured the continental US, Alaska, Hawaii, Eastern and Western Caribbean. However, this is his first stop in Europe!
Though he has toured/performed/or recorded with such jazz giants as Freddie Cole, Cedar Walton, James Moody, Freddie Hubbard, Reginald Veal, Cyrus Chestnut etc, his roots are in the Missionary Baptist Church, where he was raised and learned to play!

Tracey Duncan

When you think of drums…you think of Tracey Duncan. A woman, who can beat the drums with so much passion, love and devotion, is truly led by the Holy Spirit. As a member of the Protestant Faith Fellowship Band, and whenever she is not on tour somewhere, Tracey is a true asset with her sense for rhythm and we are pleased to have her as a part of our 100%- Gospel-Workshop-Berlin. Jörg Heinrich

What would a band be, without the bass…the Protestant Faith Fellowship Band of course is no exception. Jörg Heinrich has been our long time dedicated bass player and as with the other musicians, he also will accompany the 100% Gospel Workshop Choir.

Benedikt Stehle

Although the Protestant Faith Fellowship Band already has a drummer, who says they cannot have more than just one?! With Benedikt, the PFF Band has another outstanding musician, who at his young age has been able to gather a great amount of experience playing at concerts or recording in many countries across Europe and the USA. With this young talent we truly enjoy the meaning of rhythm and we are glad to have him support our 100%-Gospel-Workshops-Berlin and concerts. More about Benedikt Stehle: www.benediktstehle.com
